In Kutikanam, there is a man-made pine forest that occupies 100 acres of space. About 30 different bird species have habitat there. It was designated as a buffer zone by the Department of Forestry and Wildlife. There will be 15–45 m tall pine trees. It's interesting to observe the dense stand of tall pine trees. They enhance the setting's alluring charm.
Valanjanganam Falls is 5 kilometres away from Peerumedu. It is approximately 75 feet high. It is worth a visit and shrouded in mist. This sparkling white, milky waterfall is thought to have its origins in the Kuttikanom mountains. The tourists experience a euphoric sensation of bliss because to the celestial ambience and the misty waterfalls.
